With 25 years experience managing real estate and common interest communities in Charlottesville, and the surrounding areas, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge to clients and customers. From residential to commercial, and common interest communities, there isn't much that will be a surprise. 

Ben's career started in the early 2000's working with both student-focused and professional properties, managing large apartment communities, as well as single family dwellings. In 2007, Ben began managing Homeowners Associations and Condominiums, developing a new skill-discipline in property management. It was also around this time that he began working with commercial partners. In 2015, Ben began working with another local management firm, this time as an equity partner and was responsible for the daily operations of the company - adding a new tool to the toolbelt in understanding the intricacies of managing a business, as well as honing his skills as an operational property manager. After selling that business at the end of 2020, Ben spent some time working in the construction industry as a project manager while establishing the framework that would eventually become The Bear Henry Company.

Outside of the property management world, you'll find Ben on a river, fishing pole in hand, on the golf course, or on the ski slopes at Wintergreen, tending to guests as a volunteer ski patroller.
